RENTSYS RECOVERY SERVICES
MARCH 12, 2012
College Station, TX – March 12, 2012 – Rentsys Recovery Services will host the March chapter meeting for the Greater Boston Chapter of the Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) on Wednesday, March 14, from 3:45 to 6 p.m. The meeting will be at Rentsys Recovery's Billerica, MA Business Recovery Center, located at 300 Concord Road, Billerica, MA 01821. There, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a presentation by Dr. Gerald Lewis on the importance of developing employees' resiliency and availability in case of a disaster.
"We always enjoy hosting ACP events at our facility," said Rentsys Recovery Account Executive David Tedford. "We are looking forward to the opportunity to participate in Dr. Lewis's presentation on employee preparedness surveys. This is an event business continuity professionals cannot afford to miss."
Lewis's presentation – entitled "Will Your Employees Be Available When You Need Them? Utilizing an Employee Preparedness Survey (EPS)" – will address how organizations across a variety of industries can implement an EPS. The survey is a 25-30 item customized Web-based questionnaire used to evaluate an organization's preparedness for a wide range of incidents that might disrupt business flow. It focuses on three different areas: staff demographics, work responsibilities and availability issues.
Lewis is an international consultant and trainer who works with government agencies, healthcare facilities, educational institutions and private businesses on a wide range of work, behavioral health and organizational issues. His focus is facilitating organizational recovery and resiliency with an emphasis on "people recovery."
RSVPs are required for this event to ensure adequate security access. To RSVP, please contact ACP Greater Boston Chapter's Membership Director, Christine Curren, at email@example.com. For more information about the meeting, visit the ACP Greater Boston Chapter events page here.
