College Station, TX – January 14, 2013 – On January 24-25, a variety of respected contingency professionals will gather at the Mariott Charlotte Executive Park in Charlotte, NC to attend the 14th Contingency Planning Association of the Carolinas (CPAC) Symposium. They will be presenting practical solutions and tactics to help organizations survive business interruptions. Rentsys Recovery Services will be in attendance as well, offering attendees recovery solutions to prepare for a disaster.

"Having a disaster recovery plan in place is an invaluable asset for businesses," said Managing Director Walt Thomasson. "We helped numerous businesses minimize their financial loss, restore critical operations and survive last year after unexpected disasters such as Hurricane Sandy, so we’re excited to join the CPAC at its 14th Annual Symposium to promote the importance of contingency planning."

Rentsys Recovery prepares businesses for a disaster by providing recovery solutions to restore their office environment. Its services include Quickship of critical IT hardware, voice and network recovery, data backup and fixed-site and mobile workspace solutions.

CPAC Inc. is a professional peer group that was formed in 1987 to raise awareness about the value of contingency planning in North and South Carolina. The presentations featured at the symposium will focus on identifying common problems, proposing resolutions and sharing lessons learned from previous disaster experiences.
