Walt Thomasson to Speak on Mobile Work Area Recovery and the Cloud at Colorado Symposium

October 1, 2013

College Station, TX – October 1, 2013 – Rentsys Recovery Services’ managing director, Walt Thomasson, will be a featured presenter at an all-day symposium hosted by the Colorado Association of Contingency Planners (ACP) on Friday, October 18, at the Arvada Center. Thomasson will speak to attendees about mobile work area recovery and the cloud.

“Two of the most crucial elements of disaster recovery are workspace and communications,” said Thomasson. “As a mobile workspace provider, we have seen how organizations benefit from portable work area and technology solutions because it enables them to recover more quickly and effectively in the event of a disaster.”

Through Thomasson’s presentation, attendees will learn how mobile workspace units, on-demand technology, satellite communications and off-site cloud data access work together to develop successful recovery plans for businesses of any size.

Thomasson will be joined at the symposium by keynote speaker Pamela LaPine, CEO of HipLink communications and an expert in architecting global wireless solutions. Other presenters include Officer Brandon Gipson, who will discuss his experience with the Aurora theater shooting; Gerry Lockart and Sam Jariwala, who will share their knowledge about business continuity policies; and Pamela Bourg of St. Anthony’s Hospital, who will discuss her experience with moving a trauma center.
