Rentsys Demonstrates Business Continuity Services at Third Annual MCPF Vendor Expo

October 30, 2013

College Station, TX – October 30, 2013 – According to a 2013 AT&T business continuity study, 87 percent of 500 IT executives surveyed said their business had a business continuity plan, yet only 38 percent indicated that it was a priority. Rentsys Recovery Services, a provider of comprehensive disaster recovery solutions for businesses ranging from community banks and credit unions to enterprise organizations, introduced MidAmerica Contingency Planning Forum (MCPF) attendees to a better way to plan for, mitigate and manage interruptions on October 17 in Maryland Heights, MO at the Third Annual Vendor Expo.

"Our recently expanded suite of services generated quite a bit of interest among enterprise corporate attendees at the exhibit this year," said Rentsys Account Executive Mike Manchester. "These companies all expressed an interest in our enhanced ability to assist both in the preparation and execution of their BC and DR plans."

Rentsys offers business continuity as a service (BCaaS), Rentsys Continuity Manager (RCM), which is a BC software-planning tool, and disaster recovery solutions that include mobile and fixed-site workspaces, on-demand technology, satellite communications and off-site cloud data access solutions. These services enable continuity planners to track the development of their BC programs, measure statistical probability of downtime and loss, improve interdepartmental communication, meet federal regulations and manage incidents in real time.

The MCPF Vendor Expo gave BC professionals the opportunity to learn about BC/DR products and services and network with fellow professionals as well as hear from industry experts on topics such as integrating social media in BC programs and realistically performing tabletop exercises.
